Meet Matt

I have always wanted to see the world and had a drive to tell stories. In order to hone these ambitions I have spent the last few years educating/ immersing myself in the world of film and media. My development as a creator began at a young age; I had always loved putting together homemade videos and watching movies. I truly began my pursuit of this passion at URI where I studied film and media with a minor in marketing. I can’t stress enough how thankful I am that this career has given me the ability to enjoy the present and live in the moment. Surrounding myself in the world of storytelling has helped me realize how; video and photography gives us an opportunity to exhibit a message/ narrative that can have a true effect on individuals and society. Beginning my own business and working with different companies/ people has allowed me to embrace the opportunity to not only tell different brand's stories but also work with others on achieving their goals. One thing about becoming a creative professional I cherish; is how it’s presented me with the chance to not only tell stories but also hear other people’s amazing recounts and life lessons. This isn't just a job or hobby for me; it's a passion. I would like to someday use my passion as a way to create different types of media that can leave an impact on the world.

Over the last few years, as the social media space has grown, I’ve become fascinated with its ability to connect people from all across the globe. Social Media gives a platform for all kinds of people to follow one story, one brand, one idea. In my last year of highschool, I decided I wanted to play a part in telling people's stories and creating effective advertising, and thus, HFM was born. I’ve always found the most interesting things in the world are people, and the intricate stories every person has that frankly, don’t get a chance to be shared. After partnering with one of my best friends, we’re on a mission to highlight the beautiful parts of the community, and connect people through effective, and engaging advertising.
